Multiplayer games for SNES?

Any suggestions for real multiplayer games for the SNES?
I'm looking for games, where 2 players can play against each other at the
same time (split screen etc.). I've just found "Kawasake Superbike", yet.

What sort of genre? Racing games, fighting games (there are loads of
these!), Bomberman?

IMHO Mario Kart is the best 2-player game on the SNES. I spent many
hours of my life enjoying that game with my friends.

Top Gear 2 is a good wheeze (I think there was a newer one, but I never
got to play that).

I'm pretty sure there was a Bomberman iteration on the SNES and that
game is another classic for eating away at the hours of your life.

The Chaos Engine was a good 2 player, and my brother and i use an Emulator
and play it over the network. Also pretty much any fighting game is 2 player
